Fans play an important role in uplifting the team’s morale during the passage of the play. At times, players feel demotivated during the game but fans often boost them in the form of motivational chants. Without the support of the fans, the game is just incomplete.

The last season of the IPL was played behind closed doors. Fans were not allowed to enter the stadium for obvious reasons as they watched the matches at home. But this time around, the 14th edition of the IPL saw fans turning up in numbers to root for their respective teams.

The first half of the IPL was played in India before the BCCI postponed the tournament for an indefinite time. Now that it has been shifted to the United Arab Emirates, the entertainment quotient only got amplified as the tournament progressed.

Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore are the three teams that qualified for the playoffs this season. The battle for the fourth spot is still on. Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians are still in the game. Sunrisers Hyderabad were the first team that got knocked out of the playoffs.

During the recently-concluded game between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals in Sharjah, an adorable moment was witnessed in the gallery. Some CSK players’ wives turned up in the stadium with their children. The cameraman was constantly zooming in on them whenever possible.

MS Dhoni’s daughter Ziva Dhoni was spotted cheering for CSK in the stands. Apart from Ziva, another cute child that hogged the limelight was Faf du Plessis‘ daughter. She became the centre of attraction after she adorably called her father by blowing a whistle.

The video clip received countless reactions on social media. Talking about the game, CSK posted 136/5 in 20 overs. DC beat CSK by 3 wickets in a nervous run-chase in Sharjah.
