India vs West Indies 2022, 3rd ODI Match Prediction – Who will win the game?

When Team India toured the rainbow nation earlier, they did nothing much to stop the Proteas from going all guns blazing. In the end, they returned home with empty hands. In the wake of the ODI series whitewash, an air of melancholy surrounded Team India.

However, the tables turned when Rohit Sharma returned to lead the team for the home series against West Indies. Indians breathed new life into the assignment. They worked their socks off in the opening two ODIs at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

India also became the first team to play 1000 games in the 50-over format. Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team won the first ODI by 6 wickets. The Men in Blue channelised their aggression in the correct route and went on to win the second ODI by 44 runs.

They have already won the series by 2-0 and will be eagerly waiting to finish off the ODI series on a high. The third game will be held at the same venue in Ahmedabad. The weather looks absolutely good on the match day.

The temperature is expected to touch 28 degrees during the afternoon. The newly-built pitch has offered a great deal of assistance for the spinners. Needless to say, the pitch also assisted the fast bowlers as well. Yuzvendra Chahal took 4 wickets in the first ODI.

Prasidh Krishna took 4/12 in the second ODI. On the other hand, Alzarri Joseph and Odean Smith took 2 wickets each for West Indies. Kieron Pollard who missed the second ODI due to fitness issues might be back to lead the team in the third ODI.
