India’s premier fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is one of the bowlers to watch out for in the upcoming Test match. He picked up three wickets in the Bengaluru Test recently. Notably, he was the only Indian pacer who ruffled New Zealand batter’s feathers more often than not. The 30-year-old Ahmedabad fast bowler has taken 173 wickets including 10 five wicket hauls.

Aakash Deep made his Test debut against England in the fourth Test match in early February 2024. The right-arm fast medium bowler who played three Tests so far has taken 8 wickets. Mohammad Siraj, who was part of the Bengaluru Test, picked up two wickets but conceded 100 runs. Akash Deep is expected to replace Siraj in the upcoming match.

Axar Patel is expected to replace Kuldeep Yadav in the Pune Test. The chinaman bowler picked up three wickets in the first innings against New Zealand. He conceded 5.4 and 8.7 runs per over in the first and second innings.

Axar Patel is a handy lower-order batsman. He scored 646 runs in 14 matches including four half centuries, registering his personal score of 84. On the other hand, he has taken 55 wickets, including 5 five wicket hauls.
