IND vs BAN 2024: India’s probable XI for the second Test versus Bangladesh
Bowlers: Kuldeep Yadav, Akash Deep, Mohammed Siraj
Kuldeep Yadav has an incredible record at home. The 29 year old has taken as many as 35 wickets in eight home Tests at an average of 21.82. He has made one appearance against Bangladesh in Test cricket. Overall, he has taken 8 wickets against them. Kanpur has historically favoured spinners and Kuldeep Yadav could be brought into the mix to weave the magic with the ball.
Akash Deep looked impressive in the first Test against Bangladesh. He took two wickets in the first innings and will be hungry to take more wickets in the Kanpur Test. Mostly, Jasprit Bumrah will be rested to manage his workload and in such a case, Akash will play the central role in bowling more overs.
Mohammed Siraj will be featured in the next Test. With Bumrah mostly likely out of the game, Siraj is expected to up the ante and deliver the goods for the team. The right-arm fast bowler took two wickets in the first innings of the Chepauk Test.
