India’s veteran cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin was last seen in action earlier this year against England. He is one of the players to watch out for in the upcoming Test series since he can deliver the goods with the ball and the bat. Over the decade, India immensely benefited from his services as a right-arm off-spin bowler and lower order batsman.

Having played 100 Tests for India, he has taken 516 wickets including 36 five wicket hauls. On the other hand, he scored 3309 runs including five centuries and 14 half centuries. Ravichandran Ashwin is the third leading wicket taker for India against Bangladesh in Test cricket.

Having played 6 Tests against them, he has taken 23 wickets. Meanwhile, he is just 9 wickets away from becoming the leading wicket taker for India against Bangladesh in Tests. Ravindra Jadeja’s last Test appearance came against England earlier this year. He is expected to dictate the terms as a bowling allrounder in the upcoming series.

Having played 72 Tests so far he scored 3036 runs, including four centuries and 20 fifties. On the other side of the coin, he has taken 294 wickets. Jadeja is only 6 wickets away from taking 300 wickets in the longest format. He will be looking forward to achieving the milestone.
