Yuzvendra Chahal is a household name in Indian Cricket. From bamboozling the batters with his bowling to his antics on social media, everything keeps fans entertained. Chahal was arguably the 2nd-most loved player during the 7-year spell at Royal Challengers Bangalore.

However, the beautiful journey came to an end as Rajasthan Royals signed Chahal in the IPL Mega Auctions 2022. In a video shared by the Royals from Rajasthan on their Twitter account, Yuzvendra Chahal has shared a spine-chilling incident from his Mumbai days in 2013.

Chahal was in conversation with his fellow teammates Ravi Ashwin and Karun Nair where all three players shared some little-known episodes of their life and cricketing journey.

During the conversation, Yuzvendra Chahal revealed the incident involving a drunk RCB player who once hung him from the 15th floor of the hotel balcony during his Mumbai Indians’ days in 2013. However, Yuzi denied revealing the name of the player involved to avoid any controversy.

“I never told this story, from today everyone will know. I never shared this. This dates back to 2013 when I was with Mumbai Indians we had a match in Bangalore. There was a get-together after that. So there was a player who was very drunk, I won’t say his name. He was very drunk, he was looking at me for a long time and he just called me and he took me outside and he hung me on the balcony,” Yuzvendra Chahal told Ravi Ashwin and Karun Nair.

The leggie also confirmed only a handful of people know about the incident and he has kept it with himself all these years.

“And my hands were around him, like this (behind the neck). Had I lost my grip, I was on the 15th floor. Suddenly many people who were there came and they handled it. I kind of fainted, they gave me water. Then I realized how responsible we need to be when we go anywhere. So this was one incident where I felt I made a narrow escape. Had there been slightest of mistakes, I would’ve fallen down,” he concluded.

Here’s the video of the conversation:
