Everything is not well within the Chennai Super Kings camp. The reports of a major rift between the Chennai-based franchise and Ravindra Jadeja are coming out as the CSK have unfollowed the star all-rounder on Instagram.

The Chennai Super Kings began the new season with a shocker as the skipper MS Dhoni handed over the captaincy to his deputy Ravindra Jadeja for an easy transition. However, things didn’t work as per plans and CSK have had a dismal season.

The four-time champions have almost been eliminated from the competition as they sit 9th in the points table with only four wins and seven losses after eleven games. The Yellow Army must will all of the remaining four fixtures to stay alive in the competition.

The defending champions have been in a dire strait this season, and the newly appointed skipper Ravindra Jadeja has already handed back the captaincy to MS Dhoni. The captaincy stint affected Jadeja’s game as the ‘Rockstar’ has had a forgettable season with the bat and the ball.

In 10 IPL games this season, Ravindra Jadeja has only managed 116 runs at a strike rate of 118.36, and he has scalped only five wickets with the ball. Not just with the bat and ball, Jaddu has missed easy catches while fielding, and it sums up his sorry campaign this season.

Reports of a rift between CSK and Ravindra Jadeja surfaces

Jadeja missed CSK’s last fixture against Delhi Capitals with an injury concern, but reports suggest a different story. Everything is not well between Chennai Super Kings and one of their most loyal servants, as the CSK have unfollowed Ravindra Jadeja on Instagram.

The action on social media has created the clouds of uncertainty over Jadeja’s future with the four-time champions. Lately, the Super Kings have earned themselves a reputation for not treating their senior players with respect after Suresh Raina-saga. It looks like CSK-Jadeja might head in the same direction.
