Hardik Pandya is one of the best T20 materials, India has ever produced. The Baroda-born all-rounder who plays for Mumbai Indians in the IPL can contribute with the bat and with the ball as well. However, at the moment, he is pretty much focused on his batting part.
The all-rounder himself made it clear that he wants to concentrate on his batting as of now. We may see him in the bowling attack once he’s fully fit and ready to swing his arms. The star all-rounder was last seen in action during the T20I series against Australia. He tormented the Aussie bowling attack with blistering batting performance. After the series, he took a break from cricket.
He will be back in action against England in the upcoming T20I series and will be looking forward to delivering the much-needed amends. He has a better strike-rate (149.2) compared to other Indian players. He played 43 matches (28 innings) wherein he managed to score only 388 runs. Hardik Pandya hasn’t scored a half-century so far and is yet to make a mark in this format.
