The highly-anticipated mega auction is around the corner. Meanwhile, IPL teams have been actively preparing a perfect blueprint in order to dominate the next season. As per the latest reports in PTI, Royal Challengers Bangalore have reserved high bids for 3 players.
The list includes two senior cricketers and a young cricketer. The source added that RCB has reserved high bids for Jason Holder, Ambati Rayudu and Riyan Parag. Jason Holder has been in imperious form in white-ball cricket. His all-round potential is known to everyone.
On the other hand, Ambati Rayudu is one of the experienced middle-order batsmen. He has served quite well for Chennai Super Kings in the last few years. However, CSK released him ahead of the auction. Rayudu enrolled himself as the wicketkeeper for the auction.

The latest report from news agency PTI says that RCB has reserved up to Rs 12 crores for former West Indies skipper Jason Holder for his multiple abilities. Having Jason Holder is an added advantage and the teams will launch bidding wars to recruit his services.
“Ben Stokes isn’t available, Hardik Pandya and Marcus Stoinis are taken. Mitchell Marsh, you never know whether he can survive a full IPL with his injury-prone career, Holder has been phenomenal if one looks at his record. RCB will like to go the distance as some others will also pitch in,” the source added.
RCB have retained three players namely Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell and Mohammed Siraj ahead of the auction. Currently, they have Rs 57 crores in their wallet. Meanwhile, they are expected to show a great deal of interest in former CSK batsman Ambati Rayudu and Riyan Parag.
“For Holder, they have reserved INR 12 crores and another INR 8 crores for Rayudu and Rs 7 crore for Parag. If they spend INR 27 crores approximately on these players, they would have another INR 28 crores left. The core with Kohli, Maxwell, Siraj, Holder, Rayudu, and Parag will be set. Let’s hope they can get two out of preferred three,” the source addd.
