Geeta Basra, the wife of Harbhajan Singh, is an actress born in Britain. Her roots trace back to Punjabi Indian parents in Portsmouth, a city on the south coast of England.
Geeta completed her early education at Portsmouth High School before pursuing her passion for acting at the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute. She marked her acting debut in 2006, starring alongside Emraan Hashmi in the film ‘Dil Diya Hai’.
The following year, she appeared in ‘The Train’, again acting alongside Hashmi. Geeta also featured in the music video for the song ‘Ghum Sum Ghum Sum’ by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Sukshinder Shinda. Her last known appearance in a movie was in the Punjabi film ‘Lock’ in 2016.
