Mumbai Indians shelled out INR 75 lakh to sign Fabian Allen at the auction ahead of IPL 2022. Allen is a left-arm spinner who is also a handy batter lower down the order and he also is an agile fielder. The signing didn’t go as per plan for Mumbai Indians.
Fabian Allen played only a single game during the entire season. In that game, he could only manage 8 runs with the bat and picked up one wicket after giving away 46 runs in his four-over spell.
Mumbai Indians will look to release Fabian Allen ahead of the IPL 2023. It will release a substantial amount of INR 75 lakh for the franchise. They will look to use that amount to sign a more suitable player.
