Nitish Kumar Reddy was a popular name in small circles before his name became the talk of the town when he took the IPL very seriously. He has been a pretty decent contributor to Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2024. Overall, he has mustered 303 runs at a pretty good strike rate of 140.
He maintained a batting average of 33.66 and did his bit by smacking 21 sixes to escalate the run-scoring rate. Besides that, he took three wickets to his name. The 21-year-old was awarded the Emerging Player title for IPL 2024. The young prospect has a bright future and has all the tools and ingredients to represent Team India in the future.
5. Shashank Singh
Picked by accident at the IPL 2024 auction, Shashank Singh turned out to be the real deal for Punjab Kings. It is worth noting that he had single-handedly carried Punjab Kings by playing quite a few match-winning knocks. Besides that, he drew plaudits for his quickfire cameos and his big six-hitting abilities.
Shashank scored 354 runs in 14 games at an average of 44.25 and a strike rate of 164.65 including 2 fifties. He might be 32 years old but he has got a lot of shots under his sleeve and can serve as a perfect T20 material. The aggressive batter is more likely to earn a national call up in the near future.
