2. Royal Challengers Bengaluru
RCB are one of the teams that might be interested to sign the 32-year-old India-born USA seamer in the next auction. The Bengaluru-based franchise invested heavily on the pace attack last season, a decision that received mixed reviews from the fans of the cricket fraternity.
Although RCB qualified for the playoffs, they lacked the teeth to outsmart Rajasthan Royals in the Eliminator. RCB need a bowler who can be sharp and decisive in the powerplay overs. Saurabh can come in handy where he can pose threats to the oppositions with his cutters and tricky deliveries.
3. Rajasthan Royals
Rajasthan Royals were at an entirely different level altogether in the first half of the season before their confidence levels took a hit in the latter stage of the season. They qualified for the playoffs by finishing second before knocking RCB out of the competition.
However, they surrendered at the hands of Sunrisers Hyderabad in Qualifier 2. Saurabh has the tools and ingredients to thrive in the powerplay with his swing bowling. On the contrary, he might come in handy in the death overs by pitching in with pin-point yorkers too.
