1. Shardul Thakur
Many would be surprised to see Shardul’s name on this list as the all-rounder was Delhi Capitals’ most expensive signing at the auction for IPL 2022. The franchise shelled out INR 10.75 crore to secure the services of Shardul Thakur.
Furthermore, the all-rounder had a decent season with the franchise as he picked up 15 wickets in 14 matches and also scored 120 runs at a strike rate of 137.93. However, there have been reports that Chennai Super Kings are trying to re-sign their former player in the trading window.
Delhi Capitals are also pushing for the deal as they will secure the services of Ravindra Jadeja, who is reportedly unhappy with Chennai Super Kings. As per reports, the Delhi-based franchise has offered Shardul Thakur and one player (name unknown) for Ravindra Jadeja. On paper, the deal makes a lot of sense for all parties involved and there is a high chance that the move will go through.
