Chris Jordan was picked by CSK to provide them with a flavor of experience in their young bowling line-up. DJ Bravo’s injury made a place for him to be included in the XI. He was expected to take up death over bowling duties, for which he is famous and considered an expert.
However, he miserably failed to live up to the expectations. The right-arm pacer leaked 77 runs in four games at an economy of 10.52. On top of that, he could pick up two wickets in the process. Even the English national side have assigned him a backup role. Hence, CSK will think no differently.
CSK would like to trade Jordan for another pacer that could be more useful for the team. On the other hand, the other side would get the services of the experienced England international.
