WATCH: Suryakumar Yadav interviews fans in unrecognizable avatar
Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav is one of the most lovable cricketers across the globe. He is a light-hearted person who likes to keep the atmosphere sounding and glittering. He never indulges in any controversies or fights and takes everything in a sporting manner.
Finding time away from cricket, Suryakumar planned a fun activity to commit for the fans. He changed his avatar by wearing a cap, glass and a mask so no one could recognize him. Even teammate Ravindra Jadeja couldn’t recognize him on the first go in the hotel.
He then went to the famous Marine Drive in Mumbai to interview people about cricket and non-cricket topics. BCCI uploaded the video on its official website for the fans to watch.

Suryakumar Yadav should shine for India
Suryakumar Yadav couldn’t retain his position in the playing XI for the World Cup owing to his inconsistent stint in the ODI format. Master of T20 cricket, Surya failed to inherit the formula of the 50-over cricket and hence, Shreyas Iyer was preferred for the No.4 position ahead of him.
However, the injury of all-rounder Hardik Pandya opened the door for him to walk into the final XI. Playing his first game in the 2023 edition, he was unfortunate to give away his wicket due to miscommunication between him and Virat Kohli.
Luckily, the 33-year-old bounced back by playing a vital knock of 49 runs off 47 balls against England. His innings came under pressure when the team needed someone to chip in and score some valuable runs. That knock will definitely give him a lot of confidence for the upcoming games.
As the availability of Hardik is still under the radar, Suryakumar is likely to continue in the main line-up. He will be accountable for providing solid finishes and scoring quick runs from the very first ball.
