Shubman Gill produced the catch of the season so far to dismiss Even Lewis during match 4 of IPL 2022 between Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants.
The incident took place in the fourth over of the match when Gill ran back almost 15 yards to complete a stunning catch. The ball was pitched short by Varun Aaron outside the off-stump, and Evin Lewis rocked back to pull and mistimes it.
Shubman Gill ran back from mid-wicket, kept his eyes on it, taking it over his shoulders with a calm and composed head. It was not an easy catch to judge but Shubman Gill took it two-handed with ease.

Lucknow Super Giants recover well after Gujarat Titans hand early jolts
KL Rahul & Co made an excellent recovery after Mohammed Shami blew them away with a breathtaking spell. He dismissed KL Rahul in the first ball of the game and then knocked off Quinton de Kock and Manish Pandey from two peach deliveries to reduce Lucknow to 29/4.
But Ayush Badoni and Deepak Hooda did an outstanding job reviving Lucknow. The pair took their time to get going and once they did it was carnage. Hooda got to his fifty and once he was dismissed Badoni took over. The youngster reached his landmark in his debut IPL game.
Seasoned all-rounder Krunal Pandya also provided finishing touches to guide Lucknow to 158 runs as Gujarat Titans lost control as the game progressed. There were a couple of drop catches and LSG capitalised on the opportunity with effect. However, with the dew setting in, the scoreboard is unlikely to pose any difficulties to Gujarat Titans, who have a balanced batting attack.
