Watch: Prasidh Krishna bowls a scorching yorker to rattle Liam Livingstone’s stumps

In the ongoing game between Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals, pacer Prasidh Krishna bowled a crushing yorker to dismiss Liam Livingstone.

In a day game, Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings are currently battling at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. The Kings from Punjab are fighting to stay in the hunt for the playoffs spot, while The Royals from Rajasthan would not want to slip at the wrong time in the competition.

Punjab Kings’ skipper Mayank Agarwal asked the opposition to bowl first after winning the toss. The opening duo of Shikhar Dhawan and Jonny Bairstow gave Punjab Kings a flying start with 47 runs partnership off 31 deliveries for the first wicket.

All Punjab Kings’ batters came out with attacking intent as Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Mayank Agarwal played important cameos for their side. Meanwhile, Liam Livingstone entered the arena after Jonny Bairstow’s wicket, who got out after scoring a half-century.

Prasidh Krishna removes Liam Livingstone with a brilliant yorker

With the Englishman and Jitesh Sharma present in the middle, Punjab Kings looked for an explosive finish. Rajasthan Royals’ skipper Sanju Samson brought Prasidh Krishna to bowl the 19th over.

As per his reputation, explosive all-rounder Liam Livingstone smashed a six and a boundary off the first four deliveries, including two dots and a wide. However, Krishna bowled a perfect yorker to send Livingstone back to the dugout.

Prasidh Krishna came round the wicket as Liam Livingstone was standing outside the off exposing his stumps. Prasidh nailed the yorker, and Livingstone failed to get bat on the flick as the bowl hit the base of the stumps.

Punjab Kings posted a decent total of 189/5 in 20 overs courtesy of a wonderful cameo from Jitesh Sharma.

Chasing the total, Rajasthan Royals are batting in the attacking mode as they have scored 95/2 after 10 overs.
