Is there a better new ball bowler than Mohammad Shami in world cricket currently? The seam of his hand is the poetry in motion and eye-pleasing to watch.

In the ongoing contest between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans, veteran pacer Mohammad Shami delivered a beautiful inswinging delivery to uproot Kane Williamson’s stumps.

On Wednesday, table toppers Gujarat Titans are up against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 40th match of the IPL 2022. The Titans’ skipper Hardik Pandya invited the Men in Orange to bat first after winning the toss.

Abhishek Sharma and Kane Williamson started steadily and added 25 runs without losing a wicket. However, the Indian pacer Shami was in an attacking mood and sent the Sunrisers’ skipper back to the hut to provide his side with an early breakthrough.

Mohammad Shami troubles Kane Williamson

After an ordinary opening over, Shami returned to bowl the 3rd over. He troubled the Kiwi skipper for the first four deliveries before dismissing on the fifth. It was full delivery with an upright seam; Kane Williamson went for a drive and left a big gap between bat and pad.

The ball found its way in between to make a mess of Kane’s stumps.

At the time of writing, Sunrisers Hyderabad are flying towards a big total. They have posted 112 runs in 12 overs for a loss of two wickets.
