Jahandad Khan and Zaman Khan’s fielding mishap grabs everyone’s attention in PSL 2024
Multan Sultans’ wicketkeeper-batsman Usman Khan nudged Sikandar Raza’s length ball between the square leg and midwicket for a single. Meanwhile, the Lahore Qalandars fielders Jahandad Khan and Zaman Khan were sprinting towards the ball.
As it turned out, both the fielders ended up missing the ball completely as they ran exactly opposite to each other. Sikandar Raza who contained runs in his over was unhappy with the sloppy fielding effort by the duo.
Their shoddy effort gave the opposition to convert a single to three runs. The video clip of the same has gone viral on social media. Meanwhile, Multan Sultans finished strongly as they garnered 214/4 in their quota of 20 overs.
Usman Khan was the pick of the batters as he chipped in with 96 off 55 balls including 11 fours and 2 sixes at a strike rate of 174.55. Apart from him, Iftikhar Ahmed provided fireworks in the fag end of the innings, scoring an unbeaten 40 off 18 including 2 fours and 3 sixes.
