MS Dhoni comes second on the list of Indian cricketers with the highest brand value. Despite retiring from international cricket in August 15, 2020, the former Indian captain still holds a significant brand value, which is estimated at $95 million (approximately Rs 766 crore).

During his international career, he led India to three ICC titles: the T20 World Cup in 2007, the ODI World Cup in 2011, and the Champions Trophy in 2013. Thus, he became the only captain to achieve this remarkable feat. In the IPL, he transformed Chennai Super Kings (CSK) into a dominant force, guiding the team to five IPL titles. He represents popular brands such as JioCinema, Panerai and Indigo Paints.

1. Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli leads the pack with a brand value of $227.9 million (approximately Rs 1912 crore), as per Kroll’s ‘Celebrity Brand Valuation Report 2023’. His market value has augmented by $51 million from 2022, which goes to show his strength in brand endorsements.

He works with major brands like Puma, MRF, and Audi. Notably, he is the most-followed Indian, cricketer and Asian individual on Instagram portal with over 270 million followers. Kohli etched his name into the record books when he went past Sachin Tendulkar’s tally of most centuries in ODIs. He registered the feat against New Zealand in the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023.
