Team India’s strongest playing XI for T20 World Cup 2024
Team India will kick-off their campaign against Ireland on June 5.
Bowlers: Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Arshdeep Singh
Kuldeep Yadav is almost a certain pick as the prime spinner. He has been in great form with the ball and has been a wicket-taker. He can play a vital role in the West Indies and USA spin-friendly pitches.
Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj are the pacers in the lineup. While the former has been bowling brilliantly, the same couldn’t be said about the latter. Siraj has struggled to do well for RCB this season, but he can bounce back anytime soon.
With one position left in the XI, it will highly depend upon the conditions. If the pitches favour spin, Rohit Sharma & Co. will either go with Yuzvendra Chahal or Axar Patel. Else, expect Arshdeep Singh to walk into the side.
