Indian captain Rohit Sharma has got a phenomenal record against Sri Lanka. Popularly known as “Hitman” for his six hitting potential, Rohit Sharma has scored two double centuries against Sri Lanka. He will be looking forward to cashing in on opportunities to add more runs to his tally.

He will be opening the innings alongside youngster Shubman Gill. The pair has been productive for India at the top of the order in ODIs and will look to pose a serious threat to Sri Lanka in the ODI opener in an attempt to provide an electrifying start to the game.

Recently, Shubman Gill suffered an neck spasm which is why he was not able to play the second T20I but he was back in action to play in the 3rd T20I for India. He hasn’t had the best of starts to his T20I career. However, he has done exceptionally well in ODIs and is expected to come up trumps against Sri Lanka.
