The drama unfolded during the 45th over of India’s innings when the South African paceman lost his cool and hurled a few words in frustration at the Indian batsman. This came after KL Rahul smashed successive boundaries off Marco Jansen’s bowling a few overs earlier followed by an epic six in just the previous ball.

Marco Jansen vented his frustration by hurling a few words at the star Indian batter. However, KL Rahul responded with a precious smile. The video clip of the same garnered the attention of the cricket fraternity, with the majority of the fans lauding KL Rahul for handling the situation in a calm and composed manner.

Talking about the game, KL Rahul was the best-performing player for India. He remained unbeaten on 70 runs, wherein he smashed 10 fours and two sixes. The visitors posted 208/8 in 59 overs before the rain interrupted the passage of play, which brought Day 1 to an end. Kagiso Rabada was clinical with the ball as he registered an impressive fifer.
