KC Cariappa approaches police and seeks help after former girlfriend sends threats

KC Cariappa who played for multiple IPL teams such as Kolkata Knight Riders, Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals in the cash-rich IPL has approached the police in a bid to seek assistance after his former girlfriend threatened to put an end to his cricketing career.

According to the cricketer’s statement, his former girlfriend allegedly threatened members of his family. For the record, the 29-year-old cricketer’s complaint to the police comes a year after she lodged a case against him. We have seen several cricketers being open about their personal lives, and some may share aspects of their relationships on social media as well.

KC Cariappa who hails from Kodagu, a rural district in Karnataka approached the police officials and explained his story in detail. In his statement, he specified that he fell in love with a woman but parted ways with her because she was into drugs and alcohol.

What happened in KC Cariappa’s life?

Little did KC Cariappa know that the situation would turn from bad to worse and had no option other than to seek police help in this crisis. The cricketer filed the complaint and the police officials have taken up the case. A senior police official said, “Based on the complaint filed by Cariappa, we have taken up a case.”

The 29-year-old also stated that she was promiscuous. KC Cariappa himself notified the police officials that he put in a hoard of effort to convince her to abandon drugs and alcohol but she didn’t listen to him one bit.

KC Cariappa who operates as a leg-break bowler registered his name in the IPL 2024 auction for his base price of INR 20 lakh. He has played 11 games in the IPL, taking 8 wickets to his credit. Unfortunately, the Karnataka-born failed to attract the bidders in the auction.
