Question related to Sachin Tendulkar in KBC leaves Smriti Mandhana and Ishan Kishan scratch their heads

Kaun Banega Crorepati is an Indian TV game show hosted by Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan and in fact, the show had various hosts in different seasons. The format of the show is that the contestants need to answer a series of multiple-choice questions.

Each correct answer will help them increase the amount of money. The more questions they answer, the more they will be able to pile up money. At the same time, the questions get more challenging as the game progresses. The contestant has the chance to use lifelines like Phone a Friend, 50-50 and Ask the Audience to help them answer the questions.

While we have seen a single contestant taking part in the show, there have also been occasions where two celebrities or cricketers featured in the show, which makes it more appealing as well, thereby increasing viewership. Recently, India’s woman cricketer Smriti Mandhana and Indian cricketer Ishan Kishan turned up for one of the most popular TV shows in India, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan.

Smriti Mandhana and Ishan Kishan used two lifelines

Meanwhile, a question related to Sachin Tendulkar was asked by the host, which left the duo scratching their heads. The 12th question was, “Which Indian cricketer made his Test debut in the same match in which Sachin Tendulkar scored his first international century?”

The options were Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble, Javagal Srinath and Sourav Ganguly”. With one lifeline used up by the duo already, they preferred to go for the “Phone a Friend” option. Fortunately, the duo survived the tough call, choosing Javagal Srinath as the option, which turned out to be wrong.
