Jofra Archer is one of the very few bowlers in the present era who made instant impact with the ball ever since he made his international debut for the England cricket team. The Barbados-born pacer let the ball do the talking across all formats of the game. Overall, he has represented England in 13 Tests, 17 ODIs and 12 T20Is.

Had it not been for his frequent injuries, he would have gone on to play more games for the national cricket team. Sadly, he had to miss the eighth edition of the Twenty20 World Cup in Australia. However, the England cricket team went on to win the T20 World Cup for the second time by beating the Pakistan cricket team in the final in Melbourne.

Archer has accounted for 42 dismissals in the longest format, bagging as many as three 5-wicket-hauls to his name. It is worth mentioning here that he registered his personal best bowling figures of 6/45 against the Australian cricket team during the third Ashes Test in 2019.

He drew plaudits for his lethal bowling spell that decimated Australia’s batting line-up. On the other hand, he has taken 30 wickets in the 50-over format and 14 wickets in the Twenty20 Internationals.
