Though he is likely to miss the first two games of the season.

With Tilak Varma and Tim David coming into the picture, Mumbai Indians’ batting attack with regards to top and middle order looks clearly sorted out. Having played 25 games in IPL, Tilak Varma scored 740 runs at an average of 38.9 including 3 fifties. The 21-year-old Hyderabad-born cricketer will be looking forward to making his presence count as a batter.

Tim David, who is known for his hard-hitting abilities, scored 418 runs in 25 games at a strike rate of 177.9. He played some good cameos last year and repaid the faith shown by the management. He has been in terrific form recently and would be eager to carry it forward into the cash-rich league.
