Apart from Jasprit Bumrah, MI don’t have enough quality Indian pacers in the group. Akash Madhwal definitely did well in the last season by taking 14 wickets in eight games but cannot be given full responsibility.

Unsurprisingly, the Rohit Sharma-led MI will have a few Indian pacers on their radar at the auction. One of the names that will be discussed by the management should be Harshal Patel.

The right-arm pacer can be a good addition as he can assist Bumrah in the death overs. He has variations required to deceive batters in the business end of the innings. He is experienced and a proven name too.
