“We made it a superstar team. All these players were part of the auction pool, we signed them. Our scout team has worked hard day and night. They brought in Jasprit Bumrah and Axar Patel after they saw them play in Ahmedabad. Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya were spotted by our scouts. We worked for it to become a superstar team,” said Rohit Sharma.

“A lot of appreciation should go to the scouts who spotted Jasprit Bumrah, Axar Patel, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya. Look what Rahul Chahar did for the Mumbai Indians. I am not saying I am whole and sole of the franchise, I have seen what people go through in Mumbai Indians to bring out the best in the players,” the Mumbai Indians skipper added.
