IPL 2023: Predicted strongest playing XI of Gujarat Titans (GT) for the season
Gujarat Titans will put on their everything to retain the trophy.
Middle-Order: Kane Williamson and David Miller
The defending champions grabbed Kane Williamson at the auction after Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) released him. Although he had a dismal season last time, one can’t deny his quality. In 76 matches, the Kiwi batter has scored 2101 runs at an average of 36.22 and a strike-rate of 126.33.
Kane’s inclusion will provide the much-needed solidity in Gujarat’s batting line-up. He can hold one end and accelerate afterwards to ease the job of the other batters. David Miller, on the other side, will be expected to carry on his vintage form, which he activated last season in the IPL.
Just like the old days, he dismantled bowlers all round the park and turned the game in favor of his side from difficult positions. In 16 games, he scored 481 runs at an average of 68.71 and an astonishing strike-rate of 142.73. Once again, a lot of expectations will be put on his shoulders.
