Saurashtra’s Sheldon Jackson is one of the best wicketkeepers in India currently. He remains one of the most prolific run-getters in domestic cricket in both red and white ball cricket. Jackson averages almost 49 in 90 first-class matches, while he averages over 38 in 77 List-A matches.

Sheldon Jackson played for Kolkata Knight Riders last season and earned massive praise from all corners, including Sachin Tendulkar, who likened him to MS Dhoni for his glovework. However, the 36-year-old failed to impress with the bat as he could only muster 23 runs in 5 matches.

Sheldon Jackson’s numbers in the IPL don’t give a lot of confidence as he has scored only 61 runs in 9 IPL outings. Nevertheless, he had another solid season in domestic cricket with the bat and he could be the answer to Delhi Capitals’ woes in absence of Rishabh Pant.
