The young South African pacer could be the perfect signing to replace Jhye Richardson for Mumbai Indians. Gerald Coetzee has already made his Test debut for South Africa and he is one bowler to look out for.
Gerald Coetzee has been in great form lately as he finished as the third-highest wicket-getter in the recently-concluded SAT20 while playing for JoBurg Super Kings. The 22-year-old picked up 17 wickets in 9 matches at an average of 13.53. Coetzee has bagged 54 wickets in 38 T20 games in his career.
Gerald Coetzee is also a handy lower-order batter as well. In 18 First Class matches, the right-hander has scored 301 runs, including one fifty. The youngster is an unproven commodity but Mumbai Indians are known to invest in the young guns and turn them into big players.
