Chennai Super Kings (CSK) released the talented opener from Tamil Nadu ahead of the auction for IPL 2023. Jagadeesan played two matches for the franchise in the IPL 2022 and scored 40 runs.

However, the right-handed opener is in the form of his life at the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022-23. He has already scored four consecutive centuries for Tamil Nadu.

His current form has raised his stock massively for the upcoming auction ahead of IPL 2023. He is an opener and multiple franchises need a quality Indian opener. In all probability, there will be a bidding war for the 26-year-old in the mini-auction.
