IPL 2022: Punjab Kings share a heartwarming message for Virat Kohli after his dismissal against them
Things aren’t working for Virat Kohli at all. He has applied every approach to his batting; he has been getting out softly, getting wrong decisions against him, has been run out, and also had also faced unlucky dismissals. In the last game against Punjab Kings, Virat Kohli was looking fine with the bat to score big. However, he once again got out in a slightly unlucky manner after getting a decent start. Kohli scored 20 runs off 14 deliveries, including two boundaries and one maximum.
However, when it looked like that Kohli is set to play a big knock, he was dismissed by the South African pacer Kagiso Rabada. On the 2nd delivery of the 4th over, Rabada bowled a short of a good length delivery on the Virat’s bodyline. He came inside the line and tried to play a short-arm pull. However, he once again got unlucky as the ball kissed his gloves and ricocheted to the short fine leg off his hip.
Kohli could not believe his luck and looked towards heaven in frustration while walking back to the dugout.

RCB’s head of cricket operations, Mike Hesson spoke after the game and shared his views on Virat Kohli’s current form.
“He looked in good touch, he was aggressive, and he is doing everything off the park as well in terms of making sure he prepares well. I thought today was going to be his day but once again it hits the other side of the thigh pad and goes down and he gets a single. He hasn’t had a huge amount of huge fortune especially when he has got himself set when he has got himself in. He is as frustrated as anybody,” said Mike Hesson after the 54-run loss against Punjab Kings.
