Revenge could not be served better as the wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav returned to haunt his former franchise Kolkata Knight Riders. Yadav has got his venom back for the new team as he has turned around things successfully and looking more confident in his stride.

Kuldeep Yadav capped off his brilliant spell against the Knight Riders with a stunning catch off his own bowling to dismiss Umesh Yadav. Chasing a huge total of 216, KKR were trying to stay in the hunt as they required 79 runs in the last five overs.

However, the Knight Riders were still in the game, given Andre Rusell and Pat Cummins were batting in the middle. Rishabh Pant threw the bowl to his strike bowler Kuldeep Yadav at the crucial stage. It turned out to be the final nail in KKR’s coffin with a triple-wicket over.

First, he dismissed Pat Cummins on the 3rd delivery of the over and then dismissed Sunil Narine on the 5th delivery of the over. However, the highlight of his day came on the last delivery of the spell, where he dismissed Umesh Yadav. It was a tossed up delivery, and Umesh Yadav tried to slog it out of the ground. However, the KKR pacer could only manage a top edge, sending the ball straight into orbit.

Kuldeep Yadav ran towards the ball and completed a stunning tumbling catch to cap off a brilliant day with the figures of 35/4 in 4 overs.
