IPL 2021: Avesh Khan laughs after KS Bharat misses the ball; latter hits a six off the last ball to win the game for Royal Challengers Bangalore

KS Bharat kept his nerves to take his team to a victory.

Yuzvendra Chahal, Harshal Patel and Daniel Christian took a wicket apiece. Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals’ bowlers got off to a scintillating start in the form of Anrich Nortje.

The South African international dismissed captain Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal in the first and third over respectively. Srikar Bharat and Glenn Maxwell changed the entire complexion of the game as the duo hit fifty each in the successful run-chase.

RCB required 15 runs to win off the last over. Avesh Khan, who is one of the promising bowlers gave away a boundary followed by two runs in the first two deliveries against Glenn Maxwell. After that, he bowled a perfect yorker to Maxwell and it ended up as a leg bye. Maxwell took a single to bring KS Bharat back on strike.

On the fourth ball, KS Bharat tried to play a big shot but ended up missing it. Meanwhile, Avesh Khan laughed at the batsman. In the fifth ball, Bharat ran two to get back on strike. RCB required 5 runs to win off the last ball.

The pacer delivered an upper full toss which tempted KS Bharat to smash the ball for a six off the last ball. RCB beat DC by 7 wickets in a thriller encounter.
