IND vs SA: Three changes India can make to their playing 11 in final T20I
IND vs SA: After four enthralling games of cricket, India are all set to take on South Africa in the fifth and the final T20I game of the series. Both teams will meet at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Sunday night.
The Proteas began the series with a bang with back-to-back wins in the first two matches. However, the Indian team made an astounding comeback by winning the next two games to level the series 2-2.
It is now time for the big final as the winner of this game will get their hands on the trophy. While the hosts are looking pretty strong, there are still some areas Team might look to strengthen up. Hence, here we will talk about three changes India could make in playing XI in the fifth and the final T20I game of the IND vs SA series.
Three changes India can make in the fifth T20I against South Africa:
1. Venkatesh Iyer in place of Ruturaj Gaikwad
After two back-to-back failures, Ruturaj Gaikwad returned to the form with his maiden T20I half-century in the third game.
However, the right-handed batter once again failed in the fourth game. Only a single good score in four games is not enough at this level.
Ruturaj has only scored 86 runs in 4 matches so far. India might look to bring in Venkatesh Iyer who could play an attacking knock at the top and help Ishan Kishan to take his time to play big innings.
