While it is a big shot, India could throw a surprise for the Proteas given the conditions on offer. M Chinnaswamy Stadium is a true batting paradise and a bowler like Avesh Khan could prove costly on such a wicket.

Rahul Dravid & co. might look to bring in Arshdeep Singh or Umran Malik to add variety to the Indian bowling attack. Among the two, Arshdeep Singh is likely to get the nod ahead of Umran Malik because of his left-arm angle.

The PBKS bowler was impressive in his IPL 2022 sting as he bowls economical spells for his side. The Indian management must been keen to test him keeping the upcoming T20 World Cup in mind.
