IND vs ENG 2024: Team India’s predicted XI for fifth Test against England
Team India are looking for the fourth-straight win over England in Tests.

Shubman Gill came under fire for his inability to dictate terms at No.3, a role that he willingly expressed his interest to take up. Despite the series of initial failures, he somehow managed to sort out his woes.
Gill is currently the second-leading run-scorer of the Test series with 342 runs including 1 century and 2 fifties. Sarfaraz Khan impressed the cricket fraternity by scoring 62 and 68* in his debut Test in Ranchi.
Although he failed to make an impact in the fourth Test, he will be looking forward to making the amends in the fifth Test. Devdutt Padikkal who came in as a replacement for injured KL Rahul is more likely to replace the out-of-form Rajat Patidar in the next Test.
Dhruv Jurel grabbed the opportunity in both hands by letting his bat do the talking in the fourth Test. When India required someone to shift gears, Jurel’s match-defining 90 helped the team steer into the comfort zone.
