India’s senior all-rounders namely Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin have often ticked the boxes when it comes to bowling. Apart from their bowling credentials, they have even showcased their mettle with the bat when it mattered.

Jadeja scored 217 runs in the series including 1 century and 1 fifty whereas Ravi Ashwin hasn’t quite stamped his authority as far as the batting is concerned. Nevertheless, he has been pretty good with the red cherry so far in the series.

Ravi Ashwin’s decisive fifer in the fourth Test helped India get back in the hunt. Overall, he has taken 17 wickets in 4 Tests including 1 fifer. On the other hand, Ravindra Jadeja has also taken 17 wickets in three Tests including 1 fifer and 1 four-wicket-haul.

Bowlers: Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Akash Deep

There is no better feeling than tail-enders showing defiance when it matters and Kuldeep Yadav played out 131 deliveries, scoring 28 runs including 2 fours in the fourth Test, which is pretty decent.

The chinaman bowler weaved the magic with the ball, accounting for 12 dismissals including 1 four-wicket-haul in 3 Tests. India’s premier paceman Jasprit Bumrah has undoubtedly been the best paceman on conditions that favoured spinners.

He went the extra mile and reaped rewards by taking 17 wickets in 3 games. Akash Deep who made his debut in Ranchi rattled England’s top-order by taking 3 wickets in the first innings and the 25-year-old will be vying to make yet another impact in the fifth Test.
