IND VS ENG 2024: India’s predicted XI for first two Tests against England

Bowlers: Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj

Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj are expected to form the pace bowling unit. They both have been performing at the highest level across all three formats for some years now.

Senior pacer Mohammed Shami isn’t named in the squad for the first two Test matches. He is expected to miss the entire series due to an injury and will return to action in the IPL 2024.

Talented pacers like Mukesh Kumar and Avesh Khan are also present in the squad. It will be tough to accommodate them in the first-choice team but an opportunity can arise at any time as the series consists of five matches.
