However, Iftikhar Amhed and Shan Masood consolidated Pakistan’s innings as the former took on India’s bowling to score a wonderful fifty.

In the end, Pakistan managed a very competitive total of 159/8 in 20 overs courtesy of some small cameos from Pakistan’s tail-enders.

Chasing the total, India’s top order once again failed to handle the pressure as they crumbled to 31/4 in 6.1 overs. Virat Kohli was joined by Hardik Pandya in the middle as the duo consolidated when the run rate required was creeping up.
