Born on the 30th of July 1991 in Pretoria, Transvaal Province, Pretoria, South Africa, Heinrich Klaasen has been one of the most consistent batters in the limited overs format for South Africa for the last 2-3 years. The 32-year-old made his test debut against India in October 2019, ODI debut & T20I debut against India in February 2018.
The right-hander has so far scored 1323 runs in his ODI career registering 3 centuries and 5 half centuries. He has scored 710 runs in 41 T20Is registering 4 half-centuries. He has represented Rajasthan Royals & Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL in the past. He was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for the 2023 IPL season for a sum of INR 5.25 crore.
