Unlucky Dominic Sibley!

During England’s second innings, Dominic Sibley was dismissed in a strange fashion during the 18th over of the game. The right-handed opener tried to play a sweep off Axar Patel’s bowling. In the process, the red-leather went on to hit Shubman Gill who was patrolling at a silly point.

The ball hit him so hard that Gill lost his balance and fell down. However, the ball had bounced off him in the first place. Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant quickly came forward and took the catch. Sibley who scored 2 runs in the first innings made his way back to the dugout after scoring just 3.
