The first Test match between Pakistan and Australia has witnessed a top-quality contest from both sides. Batting first, Pakistan posted 476/4 and then declared the innings. Azhar Ali top-scored for the hosts with 185 including 15 boundaries and 3 fours. Imam-ul-Haq also played well as he scored 157 including 16 fours, 2 sixes.

In reply to Pakistan’s formidable total, Australia also responded pretty well in the form of Usman Khawaja and David Warner. Both the left-handed batters took Pakistan’s attack to the cleaners. The duo added a 150-run stand for the opening wicket before David Warner departed for a well-played 68.

Warner built his innings with the help of 12 boundaries. On the other hand, Usman Khawaja who scored a half-century was en route to scoring a century in his birthplace. However, Pakistan pacer Nauman Ali dismissed him for 97 runs. Khawaja scored 15 fours to his name. Marnus Labuschagne scored an unbeaten 69 and Steve Smith is batting on 24.

Australia posted 271/2 at the stroke of lunch and are in a comfortable position at the moment on Day 4. With the first innings still going on, we can come to a firm conclusion that the first Test would end in a draw. During Australia’s innings, Naseem Shah tried to sledge David Warner and ruffled his feathers quite a bit in Rawalpindi Test.

Surprisingly, Warner was not angry even one bit as he gave a hilarious response to Naseem Shah’s sledging. The video clip of David Warner keeping him calm during the game has gone viral on the internet. Naseem Shah tried to experiment with the short ball to Warner on a few occasions.

In the process, he couldn’t resist sledging the experienced southpaw. However, Warner was in no mood to get involved as he held his nerves and focused on his batting. He simply laughed at the teenage pacer’s effort which avoided a duel between the two.
