David Miller names his all-time T20 XI; two Indians make the cut

AB de Villiers to lead the side.

Veteran South Africa batsman David Miller has recently picked his all-time T20 XI during a recent chat with his franchise Rajasthan Royals. Miller named his countrymate AB de Villiers as the captain of the side while only two Indian cricketers managed to make the cut. Two West Indies, once each from Sri Lanka and Australia and five Proteas cricketers were included.

David Miller went with T20 legend Chris Gayle and Quinton de Kock as his openers with India captain Virat Kohli to follow at No.3. Former South Africa captain AB de Villiers slotted at the No.4 spot while Yuvraj Singh, Lance Klusenar, and Kieron Pollard were the all-rounder in Miller’s all-time T20 XI.

Meanwhile, David Miller picked a star-studded pace attack including the likes of Australian speedster Brett Lee and South African legend Dale Steyn. Sri Lanka’s Lasith Malinga made up for the third pace option while Imran Tahir was the sole spinner in Miller’s all-time T20 XI.

David Miller’s All-time T20 XI: Chris Gayle, Quinton de Kock (WK), Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers (C), Yuvraj Singh, Lance Klusener, Kieron Pollard, Brett Lee, Dale Steyn, Lasith Malinga and Imran Tahir.

David Miller scored 124 runs in IPL 2021

The veteran South Africa batsman, who plied his trade for Rajasthan Royals in the recently concluded IPL 2021, endured another poor season in the franchise-based T20 league. David Miller was in and out of the squad and managed only 124 runs from nine games at an average of 24.80.
