The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has taken a significant step that might shape the future of Indian cricket. The richest cricket body made the headlines after the members of the board announced the contract extension for the head coach, meaning that Rahul Dravid will continue to contribute as the chief coach.

Earlier, there were reports of Rahul Dravid contemplating stepping down as the head coach after his tenure came to an end following the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023.
