Arun Lal gives a hilarious reply to a question about ‘Honeymoon Plans’

Former India player and current Bengal coach Arun Lal recently tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Bulbul Saha. It is the 2nd marriage of Arun Lal as the 66-year-old was married to Reena earlier, but the couple separated ways. However, Arun Lal married 38-year-old Bulbul after getting consent from his first wife.

The news broke out like a fire in the wild, and many people trolled Arun Lal for the age gap between him and his wife, Bulbul Saha. The Bengal coach is 28 years older than his now-wife.

Arun’s marriage functioned happened behind the closed doors in a private ceremony. Only close friends and family were invited, alongside the BCCI head Sourav Ganguly.

After marrying Bulbul Saha, the former cricketer interacted with the media and answered some of the questions. On marrying Bulbul Saha, Lal quoted – “I am very happy. This is another special moment in my life. I love Bulbul a lot and we will be a happy couple all our lives.”

However, when the former cricketer was asked about his upcoming honeymoon plans, Arun Lal replied cheekily, “Ranji Trophy is our honeymoon.”

Meanwhile, Arun will be focusing on Bengal’s next assignment as they have qualified for the Ranji Trophy knockouts. They will be up against Jharkhand in the quarterfinals of the mega domestic tournament. The quarterfinal will be played from the 4th of June to the 8th of June at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore.

Arun Lal will soon join the team, and his wife Bulbul to expected to stay alongside his husband during the Ranji tournament.

For the unversed, Arun parted his ways with his first wife, Reena, with mutual consent. However, he chose to stay alongside her despite the divorce, given she is battling a medical condition.
