Scotland fans interrupt Mahmudullah’s press conference with loud cheers

Surprisingly, Scotland beat Bangladesh by 6 runs.

Bangladesh national cricket team ran through a miserable experience in the T20 World Cup 2021 Qualifiers in Oman. The Tigers were far from being impressive in the first game against Scotland on October 17. They lost their first game against Scotland on October 17.

Soon after the match came to a close, Bangladesh captain Mahmudullah addressed the reporters in the post-match press conference. Needless to say, there was something else that drew the attention of the cricket fraternity.

Soon after the Bangladeshi captain started communicating in Bengali, he was taken aback by the sudden interruption of Scotland fans. Supporters were cheering for Scotland as they played their national anthem.

Mahmudullah calmly tried his best to deliver the speech but was again interrupted by Scotland fans. The International Cricket Council posted the video clip on their official Instagram handle.

Talking about the game between Bangladesh and Scotland, Scotland chipped in with an unexpected six-run win after posting a modest total of 140. It will be interesting to see if they will be able to amplify their chances.

Chris Greaves was adjudged the Player of the Match for his 45 off 28 balls. Meanwhile, Cricket Scotland also took an indirect dig at Mahmudullah’s reaction. As far as the game is concerned, Mahmudullah said, “I think the wicket was quite good and 140 was gettable.
